Heat Reduction Devices – A Thorough Guide

Cooling towers or heat rejection devices are used everywhere, be it homes or offices. There are various types of heat reduction devices available in the market.    What is a heat reduction device? And how does it work?  A heat reduction device or water tower extracts waste heat from the building to the atmosphere through a cooling water stream to lower temperatures. The type of heat rejection through a wet tower is termed as evaporative. It allows a small portion of the water being cooled to evaporate into a moving air stream, which provides significant cooling to the rest of that water stream.  The air from the water stream is then transferred to the air that raises the temperature of the air and relative humidity level to 100 percent. The air then gets discharged into the atmosphere. The evaporated heat rejection device or equipment such as wet towers is commonly used to provide significantly lower water temperatures than dry or air cooled heat rejection devices can giv
